Windows 8 launch has been officially confirmed for October

During the conference Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference, whose opening was held last evening in Toronto, Canada, corporate vice president and CFO Tami Reller announced that future Windows 8 will reach the stage of Release to manufacturing (RTM) to early August, respecting such promise two months ago.
If integrators will have access to Windows 8 since August, users will find it somewhere on the shelves by the end of October. This release date, which was first mentioned by Bloomberg in March, was not yet officially confirmed by Microsoft.
Those who have tested or Consumer version Developer Preview Preview and are sufficiently interested in new options and new Metro interface can now be quiet: operating system came in and went straight to secure release.

Office 2013 – new features

Microsoft introduced the first information about Office 2013, new version of office suite that borrows many design elements of Windows 8 and introduces a new concept for use in cloud, but the possibility of using touch gestures.
Microsoft Office is the leader of office-type software for desktop, rivals such as the use OpenOffice rather than productivity due gratuity offered. But recent years have shown that traditional software moves slightly, but surely, the cloud, and sales of touchscreen devices such as smartphones and tablets soaring.
These are reasons why Microsoft is a major focus on cloud technologies and touch the future Office 2013, which was introduced in version Customer Preview before launch scheduled for early next year.
Office 2013 – same settings on any device
Office 2013 is highly integrated with SkyDrive cloud service from Microsoft, so you can easily save all documents for quick access from any device connected to the Internet.
This option was available in Office 2010 but Office 2013 introduces a new concept, far more interesting with a subscription to Office 365, you have access to Office 2013 from any device with Internet connection, whether on that device you install Office 2013 or not, and application settings are identical on all gadgets, because they are run in the cloud. In addition, documents can easily be edited on the PC and on tablets and smartphones.
Microsoft designed Office 2013 for users of tablets too, witch is why I’m not surprise by extensive support for touch gestures. Enabling this option will give rise to larger buttons for performing a tap to be as easy. Gestures can be used both to navigate the document and to introduce the actual data, but it remains to be seen how practical it will be this way.
All applications included in Office 2013 suite are significantly cleaner interface, inspired by the universe Metro on Windows 8. Famous Ribbon is now more intuitive, but in times when you do not need it you can hide a single click, to win workspace, and it will be seen especially on screens smaller tablets.
None of the applications has not changed a lot, but each includes some cool features that will be appreciated by many users.

How do I set the Administrator password in Windows 7?

Why I should set a Administrator password?
If you have a computer and here I refer to the Desktop and you are the only one who have access, then this article will be useful only if you want to access the computer using Remote Desktop with your Administrator account.
If your laptop or computer is one that you share with several family members or are in a hostel for students as an example, then it is recommended password.
Why? because in this way the one that would like to access data on your account will also have a problem or maybe it will be impossible without proper knowledge.
Since I made a quite laborious introduction, let’s go now to the crux of the problem, namely changing the Administrator account password in a system based on Windows 7 and/or Windows XP.
How do I change the Administrator account password?
  • Right-click the Computer either on the screen (but only if is not a shortcut) or start menu, then go to Manage
  • go to Local Users and Groups -> Users, we position ourselves on the Administrator account, right-click on it and go to set password
  • confirm by pressing Proceed then enter the new password and confirm new password in both boxes.
Press Ok and everything it’s ready!

Avast 7 antivirus – impressions

I can say that Avast antivirus is my favorite after AVG was a great deal of time my favorite antivirus. After version 7.5 it began to be silly and would consume more and more resources, which makes me to focus my attention by another virus, a more friendly and low computer resources as good as it comes detection and elimination of computer viruses.
What I liked at the new version of Avast 7 is that it seems to move much better than the previous version and resources are not wasted so crazy modulated at least in standby or in working with the same files.
I have not tested it very much, but from what I observed both on a laptop, a virtual machine and a computer with AMD Sempron, if all moves slightly better than with Avast 6 satellite transponder.
Avast 7 news
Besides it’s more friendly with computer resources, Avast 7 comes with some small improvements:
  • a new installer, much better than the old
  • interface slightly modified, but many elements of the old
  • streaming updates, or sites to be watered less and more, something which does nothing but make me happy
  • substantial improvements to the modules: browser protection, sandboxing and autosandbox
  • introduced a kind TeamViewer remote support to help your friends, but as expected in this way is much work as hard move to the famous Team Viwer
  • avast 7 runs on Windows 8 preview makes this virus can run on future Microsoft operating system
  • tools support import and export facility in the antivirus settings, but from what I remember not tested all its changes, only the essential
